Mediterranean Gardens - Rustic Charm

This design was about creating privacy from an access road and creating spaces around a newly built house which was nestling into the surrounding hillside, but required the feeling of outdoor rooms for dining and relaxing around the pool, but not being to complicated so it doesn’t fight with its surrounding landscape more a seamless link to the pine forest. White oleanders (nerium oleander alba) were used to create hedges and screens, with architectural statements using Italian Cyprus (Cupressus sempervirens).
