Mediterranean Garden - Ibiza Gravel Garden

This contemporary Gravel Garden was designed for various reasons, we wanted to echo the lovely clean lines of the architecture of the house, and to highlight the beautiful trunks of the pine trees which migrate through the house and blend into the surrounding pine forest. To grow vegetation under the pines is not so easy, and the gravel also cosmetically cleans up the surface and because they are arranged in wide bands are easy to maintain, as they require raking every so often to collect the fallen pine needles and keep the bands neat and tidy.
