Urban Garden - City Style
The entrance to this property also acts as the “Outside Space“ so we designed the space to incorporate both a dining area as well as a reasonably large “Chill Out“ space, for relaxing on cushions.
We created all the built in planters to enable us to plant the pair of magnolias and the evergreen hedge of Eleagnus ebbingii as a screen from cars parked in front of the property. The entrance path to the front door we used the same tiles as the interior hallway so the space flowed better. Then we created a raised timber deck to designate the dining area, and so that you enter the garden from the house at the same level and used black as an accent colour from the interior to the outside. We used the louvered panals to cosmetically cover the ajoining property wall which was not in such great condition but I wanted the space to feel like a room so also used it to clad the existing boundary fence.
All the fabrics used are from a range of over 300 outdoor fabrics that we use.
