The Yardley Baroque garden was designed to launch the new Baroque Fragrance, with Linda Evangelista. We were awarded a Silver–Gilt Medal. It was a contemporary take on medieval planting, using dark purple within its planting like Heuchera Palace purple, Salvia officinalis purpurea and Acer Palmatum atropurpurea, as well as topary yew and box trees, silver and grey foliage plants and golden grasses which linked in with the golden pebbles within the pool. We also designed the central baronial chairs with the high-backed stainless steel. We also commissioned Oriel Harwood for the golden sculptured head as the centre-piece for the Galvanised coffee table. Photography by Clive Nichols.
