Urban Garden - Allingham Court
This narrow lower ground apartment benefits from what we describe as the “ Borrowed Landscape “ where we added extra trees and plants to the existing communal gardens to benefit our clients garden. We added the pleached trees of Hornbeam ( Carpinus betulus ) with a low boxwood hedge as under-planting. Then we added screening at both ends of the terrace in both cream metal powder-coated containers, as well as feature Topary trees in beautifull square zinc containers, some under-planted with seasonal changing flowering plants. We also added climbers to the walls of the communal garden to add fragrance and flowers for our clients to enjoy such as Hydrangea petiolaris and Trachelospermum jasminoides.
